Maxpedition Noatak Gearslinger

The Noatak, a lightweight and compact grab-and-go pack, is designed to stay securely in place even when heavily loaded. As the smaller sibling of the SITKA GEARSLINGER #0431, this pack features main and front compartments equipped with multiple organizational pockets, allowing you to separate your gear and conveniently store your CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon). Additionally, the Noatak incorporates a built-in zippered compartment to accommodate a 50oz/1.5L hydration reservoir, as well as a side cinch pouch tailored to fit a Maxpedition 32oz/1L wide-mouth Nalgene bottle.

Belonging to the Maxpedition Gearslinger lineup, the Noatak pack offers the ergonomic comfort of a backpack combined with the quick and easy access of a sling bag. Designed to be worn on the back, the Noatak features a comfortable strap that distributes the weight evenly across the shoulders. When needed, the pack can rotate 270 degrees towards the front of the body, providing convenient access to its contents. This feature is particularly useful when the pack is worn while seated, as well as when walking through the field, saving you the time and trouble of removing the bag.

Engineered to keep you comfortable in extreme environments, the Noatak's back panel and shoulder strap are padded with #AS-100 high-grade closed-cell foam material, providing superior shock protection and safeguarding both you and your bag's contents. The multi-compartment pack boasts a roomy main compartment with multiple interior pockets, a zippered front pouch with an internal "Keyper" (key retention system) and sleeve pockets, a hydration-compatible rear compartment equipped with a loop to hold a firearm, and a side water bottle pocket. Exterior modular webbing allows for the attachment of various pouches, while internal loop fields facilitate concealed carry.

In addition to its great, ergonomic gearslinger design, the Noatak is built with the exceptionally sturdy, hard-use nylon construction that Maxpedition is renowned for. Constructed from 1000-Denier water and abrasion-resistant lightweight ballistic nylon fabric, the pack is treated with Dupont Teflon fabric protector for grime resistance and easy maintenance. Triple polyurethane coating provides water resistance, while YKK high-strength zippers and zipper tracks, Paracord zipper pulls, and UTX-Duraflex nylon buckles offer low-sound closures, making the Noatak ideal for hunting and stealth uses.

To ensure the bag's integrity, all stitching is done with high-tensile-strength composite nylon thread, which is stronger than the industry standard. Stress points are double-stitched, Bartacked, or "Box-and-X" stitched for added strength, and the internal seams are taped and finished for additional weather resistance and durability. High-tensile-strength nylon webbing is used for reinforcement, attachment points, and straps, further enhancing the Noatak's overall ruggedness.

Cleaning the Noatak is a breeze – simply wipe it down with a damp cloth, and allow it to dry naturally. Detergent and bleach should be avoided, as the Dupont Teflon fabric protector ensures superior water and grime resistance.
